Seminar Synopsis

Come and hear from experienced professionals (AMBS Alumni) about what the fund-raising process is all about and what happens when you get a term sheet for investment – helpful tips if you’re planning your own start-up!

Where and how do you raise funding from external sources? And what happens when you are offered a term sheet from an interested investor? Term Sheets are used in various business dealings but hold special meaning for early-stage entities as it is a significant milestone in a start-up’s journey.

Many early stage entities work hard to get to a definitive investment transaction but fail to understand the importance and complexities of a term sheet. This seminar would help you to understand sources of fund-raising and the structure of a term sheet and implications behind some common terms so that potential entrepreneurs are better prepared in their fund raising efforts.
