The University of Manchester is a historic institution known for its ground-breaking discoveries and high-quality research with a global impact. Tracing its history back to 1824, this Russell Group university offers an exciting city campus environment and some of the best-funded student facilities in the UK. This highly-ranked university is famous among international students for its teaching quality, employability prospects, and student experience with one of the country’s largest and diverse student communities – made up of students from 160 countries.

The University of Manchester has had a presence in Singapore since 1992, with the South East Asia Centre opening in 1999. Located in the cosmopolitan business hub, there is a strong alumni presence across the region, with 1,500 S.E. Asia Centre alumni. We also have a highly diverse student population, with 400 active students representing 20 nationalities. Here we deliver the Global MBA, the MSc Financial Management programme, Executive Education and MBA electives, with more Master’s programmes coming our way very soon.

Located in Hong Kong’s prime business district, the East Asia Centre was our very first overseas hub. It attracts executives from around Asia, with over 13,000 Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) students and alumni in the East Asia region, many of whom studied the Global MBA. The East Asia Centre also offers the MSc Financial Management programme, Executive Education and MBA electives, with plans for more programmes soon.

In the heart of Shanghai, you will find one of our largest overseas hubs. Established in 2008, it delivers a number of programmes to benefit working professionals from differing industry backgrounds, such as the Global MBA, the Tongji-Manchester Global MBA, MSc Financial Management, MA Educational Leadership in Practice, MA Fashion Management and the MBA Shanghai Study Tour.

Our presence in the Middle East has been established since 2006 and we possess one of the region’s largest MBA communities, with a student population of 2,400 representing 27 nationalities and 2,500 Middle East Centre alumni. Here we deliver a variety of programmes including the Global MBA, MSc Real Estate, MSc Educational Leadership in Practice, MSc Financial Management and MBA Dubai Study Tour.

The South America Centre delivers a blended learning part-time MBA in conjunction with FGV, Brazil’s most established business and administration school. As one of the world’s most multinational cities and a major financial hub, São Paulo makes it the ideal location for Latin American MBA candidates to come together to experience Alliance MBS’ world-famous MBA teaching.
