MBS Middle East Centre celebrated its 10th anniversary with a VIP reception hosted at the British Embassy garden in Dubai by Her Majesty’s Consul General, Mr. Paul Fox.
The event was attended by senior representatives of the UAE and UK education and business communities, as well as MBS management and alumni, and Dubai-based partners. The keynote speakers at the event were Professor Colin Bailey, Deputy President and Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Manchester, Professor Fiona Devine, Head of MBS, and Dr. Wafi Dawood, Chief of Strategy & Excellence at the Knowledge & Human Development Authority in Dubai.
The reception was organised to coincide with the MBA graduation ceremony in Dubai – MBS’ largest and fastest growing international centre, which has graduated more than 1,000 MBA students over the last decade and currently supports more than 2,000 MBA students. At the event, MBS announced that the centre will be rebranded as ‘The University of Manchester’ in the Middle East, from January 2017.
