The 8 March is celebrated annually as International Women’s Day (IWD). It is a day to reflect on the achievements of women worldwide. As part of our celebrations, we looked back at the amazing journeys and achievements of some of our female MBAs over the past year.
Tania Rahman
Tania Rahman, Full-time MBA class of 2022, is a serial entrepreneur whose first business was street food market stall Chit Chaat Chai. She has gone on to be awarded Entrepreneur Of The Year 2019 and has been recognised by the Mayor Of London Sadiq Khan as a ‘Success Start-Up Story’. She has been featured by The Successful Founder for their IWD Inspirational Female Founders Spotlight.
Karen Brady
Karen Brady, a Global Part-time MBA student, recently launched Bump It Forward, a healthcare campaign that will donate the cost of a vaccine to countries in Africa who can’t afford basic PPE to keep the hospitals safe.
Kelly Antoine
Now Head of SMB, UK and Ireland, for Apple, Kelly Antoine discusses how the Global MBA enabled her to stretch into a new role at Apple, think differently and broaden her horizons.
Mi Mi Khaing
Before starting her MBA, Mi Mi Khaing was a house surgeon at Lashio General Hospital in Myanmar. She had two start-ups in the hotel industry, and successfully sold the company after one year of operation. She spoke to Study International about what it’s like to be an MBA student.
