Senior Lecturer in Finance, Alliance Manchester Business School
Patricia is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School. She has a Masters in Finance and International Management from Stockholm School of Economics. She also holds a Post-Graduate Qualification in Teaching (PGCE) and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Patricia is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ) and a ABNLP qualified Master Coach and NLP Master Practitioner.
Patricia has extensive experience in the finance sector including derivatives and wealth management where she has worked for over 11 years in large financial corporations such as Citigroup, JP Morgan, Nomura and Barclays in Manchester, London and New York.
Patricia has worked with a wide range of financial markets products, including structured funds, structured products, OTC options, notes, swaps and warrants, and proprietary index derivatives. She has also worked with a variety of client types including banks, asset managers, insurance companies, large corporates, fund distributors and other financial institutions.
In 2019, Patricia was awardedFaculty of Humanities AMBS Outstanding teaching award. In 2017 Patricia was awarded AMBS Academic of the year Full-time MBA. She has also been nominated for numerous other teaching awards such as Faculty Teacher of the Year and Most inspiring Lecturer.
Visit from Ms Leah Carter, Head of AMBA - 19 Nov 2019
On 19th November 2019, Ms Leah Carter, Head of Events at the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (AMBA), paid the Manchester Worldwide (S.E. Asia) Centre a visit. Ms Leah Carter was graciously led on a tour of the premises by Margaret Teo, the Centre Manager and Grace Chua, Senior External Relations Specialist (Alumni & Careers). During the visit, Leah shared on the AMBA Connect event in Singapore on 18th November 2019, which will serve to provide a platform for student and graduate members of their growing network of MBAs, MBMs, and DBAs to interact and exchange insights amongst each other.
