A good and effective job search strategy can save candidates time, and guide them in the right direction, paving the way for a sound future and powerful career development.
On 27 October, we were pleased to welcome MBS Global Careers Manager, Ruth Mountain to the Singapore Centre, to present an evening seminar on creating powerful job search strategies to a group of students and alumni at the John Owens Executive Room.
During the informative seminar, Ruth guided the participants through hints and tips for making the most of developing, and then working through job search strategies, as well as some ideas on how to target alumni and other contacts to elevate their chances of success when searching for their next role.
The interactive session saw attendees rating the seminar highly; and putting into practice what they have learned, by networking with each other after the session and exchanging contact details.
The following afternoon, a luncheon was hosted for Ruth (second from the left) before she departed for Hong Kong, attended by Lim Bee Ing, Singapore Centre Director; Judy Gan, External Relations Specialist; and Margaret Teo, Singapore Centre Manager (from left to right).
