Manchester Day of Action (MDOA) is our annual community volunteering project for alumni around the world. The year 2022 marks the University of Manchester (South East Asia) Centre’s 30th Anniversary. The alumni community’s support has been key to our success over the past 30 years of working towards excellence.  There is no better way to celebrate this significant milestone than to gather our alumni community to give back to the society.

The University of Manchester (South East Asia) (UOMSEA), University of Manchester Alumni Association of Singapore (UOMAAS) and Manchester Business School Alumni Association of Singapore (MBSAAS) have teamed up to organise a joint fundraising event titled ‘UOMSEA Art & Bowling Charity Day 2022’ to support the President’s Challenge. This event aims to raise S$30,000 to support lower-income families.

President’s Challenge 2022 – Supporting Lower-Income Families

Many lives and livelihoods have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially the lower-income families, due to their vulnerability to economic conditions. “Supporting Lower-Income Families” is the theme of the President’s Challenge 2022. It aims to empower lower-income families with skills and opportunities. Your generous donations will help these families emerge stronger from the pandemic and have a greater chance to achieve their goals, by getting employment prospects and providing their children with educational opportunities.

Donate TODAY to contribute towards our goal of fundraising $30,000 for the President’s Challenge!

Philanthropy and volunteering often inspire and build strong bonds between the alumni community and the student population. There has never been a better opportunity for the alumni community to step up and get involved.

Do your part by simply donating. Spread the word to your fellow students and alumni to donate. No effort is too small because together, we can make a difference!

Do more by donating and joining in the action! Take this opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and make new friends over an Art Jamming or Bowling session. Take advantage of the event to gather a group of old friends to come together and reminisce some good old memories.

Art Jamming – Relax, paint and take home your masterpiece
Uncover your talent in the art for a session of art jamming and experience the therapeutic benefits of art!

Bowling – Unwind, network and bond over bowling
Demonstrate your talent in bowling for a friendly match to compete with your comrades.

Family and friends are welcomed too. Spread the word, get more people to donate, and join the Action!

You have the power to impact many lives, bring on many smiles, and wipe off many tears and hardship. Your donation today counts! Donate Now.
